cmr is looking for a passionate Psychologist to join our clients team to make a meaningful impact in the Forbes community and surrounding areas.

About the Role

As a psychologist with us, you will:

  • Provide psychological therapy to clients aged 8 and above, including individuals, parents, families, and carers, experiencing psychological distress.
  • Offer outdoor therapy opportunities in natural settings, alongside traditional clinical environments.
  • Conduct clinical interviews and assessments, develop tailored treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions.
  • Lead and manage a clinical team (remotely across NSW)
  • Network within the community to build connections and grow the business.
  • Create and deliver engaging content for lunch-and-learn sessions to promote mental health awareness.
  • Conduct research to improve and evaluate services in consultation with management.
  • Collaborate with other health professionals and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive client care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with company policy, AHPRA standards, and best practices.

About You

  • Demonstrated advanced practices skills and an ability to undertake psychological testing and assessments, covering a broad range of presentations
  • Knowledge and ability to use evidence based psychometric assessment tools
  • Ability to develop and implement treatment and recovery plans for individuals, groups and families as required.
  • Ability to make decisions and problem solve independently, and recognising when to seek support for decision making/ problem solving from senior colleagues or supervisor
  • Capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, demonstrate accountability and willingness to take direction
  • Excellent written skills and ability to write case notes, assessments and reports

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology
  • AHPRA registration
  • Current Working with Children check
  • Current Criminal Record check
  • Eligible for, or willing to obtain Medicare provider number
  • Maintain current Professional Indemnity/ Liability Insurance as per AHPRA requirements
