About the Roles

As a Theatre Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. You will work alongside surgeons, anesthetists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and efficient surgical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare operating theatres and surgical equipment, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are available

Assist surgeons and anesthetists during procedures in scrub, circulating, or anesthetic/recovery roles

Maintain a sterile environment, adhering to strict infection control protocols

Monitor patients throughout the perioperative period, ensuring their safety and well-being

Accurately document surgical procedures, patient progress, and any incidents or complications

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care

Assist in post-operative recovery, including pain management and monitoring for complications

Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated with best practices

Who We’re Looking For

Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with current AHPRA registration

Previous experience in perioperative nursing (scrub/scout, anesthetics, or recovery)

Strong clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills in the operating theatre environment

Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate patient care effectively

Commitment to patient safety and high-quality care

Location: Everywhere In Australia
