Samantha Miklos Takes on the Vinnies CEO Sleepout
At cmr, we believe health starts with a home. Homelessness is more than a social issue – it’s a health crisis. Without stable housing, people struggle to access medical care, manage chronic conditions, and recover from illness or injury. Many healthcare professionals see firsthand how unstable housing leads to poorer health outcomes, increased hospital admissions, and a cycle that’s incredibly hard to break. As the CEO of a leading healthcare recruitment company and the host of cmr’s healthcare podcast It Takes Heart, Samantha Miklos is acutely aware of these challenges. That’s why she’s stepping up to make a difference.

This June, Sam will take part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout, spending a night outside to raise awareness and critical funds for Australians experiencing homelessness. As a two-time Recruitment Leader of the Year in 2024, she’s passionate about making an impact that extends beyond recruitment, supporting a cause that affects the people and communities we serve.
“A lack of stable housing doesn’t just affect

individuals – it puts immense pressure on our entire healthcare system. Without
a safe place to live, people struggle to manage their health and access the
care they need. Healthcare professionals witness the impact of homelessness
every day, and as a company dedicated to supporting this workforce, we recognise
the urgent need for change.”
To support Sam’s mission and amplify her impact, we’re hosting our own cmr Sleepout, an initiative dedicated to raising awareness and funds for homelessness. More details are coming soon, and we can’t wait to share how our team will be coming together for this important cause.
Join us in making a difference. Because health starts with a home, and every conversation, connection, and act of care matters.
