Residential Service Manager (Clinical) – Residential Aged Care Facility

Location: Toowoomba, QLD

Salary: $121k – $140k + Super + Salary Sacrifice (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead a small, interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care, implementing a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Strategic Planning: Implement and manage strategic plans for the facility in alignment with the organisations vision.
  • Compliance & Quality: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, manage audits, and lead quality improvement initiatives tailored to the unique needs of the facility.
  • Operational Management: Oversee nursing, care, and operational staff, ensuring a stable and positive environment for both residents and staff.
  • Financial Oversight: Develop and manage budgets, ensuring the financial viability of the facility while maintaining high-quality care and efficient resource utilization.

Criteria:

  • Tertiary qualification in Nursing with unrestricted AHPRA registration.
  • Significant experience in Aged Care, managing clinical and care teams.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent People Management Skills
  • In-depth knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards, relevant legislation, and evidence-based practices.
  • Experience in business operations, budget management, and quality processes.
  • High-level interpersonal and communication skills in a multidisciplinary environment.
